Enjoy the famous Dutch scenery sailing on the IJsselmeer, Hollands biggest
lake.
Is there a better way to do this than on board of the Arno F, a sturdy two-master,
70 feet long and carrying over 200 square meters of sail?
Over the past years the ship has been lovingly restored and rebuilt by the
shippers, Schelte and Anneke, under the supervision of the inspection of
shipbuilders. The result of their hard work is a beautiful, authentic kotter,
offering plenty of space for 26 people, both on deck and in her two cabins.
Amsterdam is our home port, where we welcome you aboard from one of the
piers behind Central Station, or next to the Oranje-sluice at Zeeburg. On
special request it is possible to sail from another harbour, like Hoorn
or Enkhuizen.
For the catering we may suggest several restaurants who will gladly propose
a fine menu, and there is a small but well equipped kitchen if you prefer
to do your own cooking.
On longer trips there is a choice of lovely hotels along the shores of the
IJsselmeer.
